Import manufacturer curves
Manufacturer curves enter the catalogue through the EKX catalogue import skill. The browser has no point editor.
Attach the manufacturer TCC PDF to your agent request. If you do not use an agent, or your agent cannot upload files, email the PDF to [email protected] and EKX imports it for you. See Upload PDFs for the file limits. You can import a curve-only document, include it with a product datasheet, or correct an existing private catalogue record by supplying its catalogue URL or record ID.
The import validates the PDF, finds candidate graph regions, extracts curve geometry, and stops for review when the result is ambiguous. Accepted curve groups are applied atomically with their catalogue package. A rejected or incomplete curve does not produce a partial catalogue write.
What the catalogue shows
The read-only record page plots the imported curves with a label for each curve, its rating or setting, and its tolerance band where the record defines one. Record details lists the source file and page for each curve.
To remove one wrong curve from an organization-private record, an owner or admin opens Saved curves on the record page and selects the delete button beside that curve. The confirmation names the curve and how many installed protection profiles use it; those devices need a profile reapplied. Deleting cannot be undone, and projects that use the curve have their short-circuit and arc flash results marked out of date. EKX default records cannot have curves deleted.
A tolerance may come from a table or footnote in a separate datasheet. Include those documents with the curve PDF. The import checks the supplied pages and distinguishes a published boundary from a tolerance applied to a nominal trace, so a tolerance already included in a printed band is not applied twice.
When the supplied evidence states no tolerance, you can use the curve for nominal operation, but its conservative trip time is unavailable. Missing pages, unreadable notes, conflicting values, and unsupported expressions remain unresolved. Provide a smaller, complete source packet or correct the source-backed association through the agent before accepting the curve.
Project protection settings use the saved rules at the installed rating and pickup. Fixed ampere and time offsets remain fixed when a setting changes. If a numerical tolerance or its applicability changes, the installed profile requires review and affected study results become stale. Importing or correcting a catalogue record never changes a project automatically.
Retention
Temporary upload and processing artifacts expire under the catalogue-build retention policy. Applied records retain safe provenance and the durable applied summary. Build-owned review visuals remain available for their review window and are removed by the cleanup worker after terminal retention.
