Run calculations
ekx can run engineering calculations on your diagram and display results directly on the canvas.
Prepare the model
- Verify each component has the required electrical properties filled in.
- Ensure all components are connected to the correct buses.
- Confirm the project defaults match your study requirements.
Run a study
- Open the calculations panel from the SLD editor.
- Choose the calculation type you want to run.
- Start the run and wait for results to appear on the diagram.
Review results
- Results appear as annotations on the components they apply to.
- If values look off, revisit component data and rerun the study.
- Export or share results using your project workflow.
