Exports
You can export your single-line diagram and analysis results in several formats for documentation, CAD integration, and reporting.
> Note: PDF export and report export require a Starter plan or above. Debug export is available on all plans.
PDF export
PDF export creates a professional drawing of your single-line diagram with an engineering title block.
- Click the Export PDF button in the toolbar (the download icon).
- Fill in the title block fields:
- Organization - your company or firm name
- Engineer - the responsible engineer
- Drawing Number - your document control number
- Revision - the revision letter or number (defaults to
A) - Date - the drawing date (defaults to today)
- Choose a page size:
- Screen (current view) - exports exactly what you see on the canvas
- 11x17 (Tabloid) - fits all components on a standard tabloid sheet
- If you selected Tabloid, choose Landscape or Portrait orientation.
- Click Export PDF.
The title block settings are saved with your project, so they pre-fill the next time you export.
If power flow results are visible on the canvas, they are included as annotations in the PDF.
Report export
Report export generates engineering reports for studies and sizing transparency.
- Click the Report Export button in the toolbar (the bar chart icon).
- Select a report type:
- Load Flow Report - power flow results only
- Short Circuit Report - short circuit results only
- Combined Report - both power flow and short circuit results
- Due Diligence Report - detailed assessment including input verification, methodology, and equipment adequacy
- Load Sizing Trust Report - narrative sizing evidence cards with code/table traceability
- Choose an export format:
| Format | Description |
|---|---|
| Markdown (.md) | Plain text format, downloads as a file |
| Word (.docx) | Microsoft Word format, downloads as a file |
| HTML | Opens in a new browser tab for printing |
- Select which sections to include. Available sections vary by report type, but can include:
- Cover page
- Executive summary
- System overview
- Power flow results
- Short circuit results
- Violations summary
- Equipment schedule appendix
- SLD diagram appendix
- Fill in report details: organization, prepared by, report number, and revision.
- Click Export Report.
> Note: Due Diligence reports always export as HTML and open in a new browser tab. > > Note: Load Sizing Trust Reports open an in-app preview first. Use Copy Markdown or Download DOCX from the preview header.
Report prerequisites
- Load Flow / Short Circuit / Combined / Due Diligence: Require corresponding study results.
- Load Sizing Trust Report: Requires existing auto-sizing evidence. Run project sizing first.
Load sizing citation behavior
Load sizing cards require:
- Code book identifier (for example,
NEC 2026) - Rule references
- Table lookup trace
If a card cannot provide citation data, it is marked UNCITED.
DXF export
DXF export creates an AutoCAD-compatible file of your diagram for CAD integration and printing.
> Note: DXF export is currently in development and not yet available in production.
- Click the DXF Export button in the toolbar.
- Configure export options:
- Scale - the conversion factor from screen pixels to drawing units (default
1) - Units - choose Millimeters, Inches, or Unitless
- Include Connections - toggle to draw lines between connected components
- Include Labels - toggle to add text labels for component names and values
- Optionally upload a DXF template file with your custom block definitions. If you do not provide a template, built-in symbols are used.
- Click Export DXF.
The file downloads as a .dxf file named after your project.
Debug export
Debug exports are automatically generated when you run power flow or short circuit analysis in non-production environments. These exports contain raw calculation data in Markdown format and are saved to the debug-exports/ folder in the project directory.
Debug exports are useful for:
- Verifying calculation inputs and outputs
- Troubleshooting unexpected results
- Sharing detailed data with support
Debug exports are generated automatically and do not require any plan or manual action.
