2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by ekx power systems through our website at joinekx.com and our cloud-based electrical engineering analysis platform (collectively, the "Services").

3. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (when using OAuth providers like Google, we receive only your public profile information).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Project Data Privacy

Your Project Data is Private. Your electrical system models, one-line diagrams, and calculation results are private by default. ekx power systems employees do not access customer project data except:

  • When explicitly requested for technical support
  • To investigate potential security incidents
  • As required by law

No Marketing Use. We do not use your project data for marketing purposes or share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Aggregated Data. We may use aggregated, anonymized data derived from usage patterns for product improvement and industry benchmarking, provided such data cannot identify you or any individual project.

6. AI Features

When you use ekx's AI assistant features, your prompts and the AI's responses may be processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic). This processing is subject to the following:

  • AI providers receive only the specific conversation content, not your full project data
